RIM sponsors MTN's fashion week

Research In Motion, the company behind the BlackBerry solution, has emerged the technology sponsor for the MTN Lagos Fashion and Design Week this year.A BlackBerry exhibition area, RIM said in a statement, was also being set up and the companys representatives would be available to answer questions about BlackBerry products and services at the show.It said, "The BlackBerry solution is the leading choice for people who want a smartphone that easily connects them to the people and information that they love most. It allows users to access emails, send instant messages with BlackBerry Messenger, browse the Internet, keep in touch with friends and loved ones on Facebook, post updates on Twitter and so much more."MTNs Regional Director for East, West and Central Africa, Waldi Wepener, said, "We are proud to be the technology sponsor for such a pioneering event.
