Jonathan tasks Tiv Christians on nation's growth

PRESIDENT Goodluck Jonathan has advised members of the Church of Christ among the Tiv (N.K.S.T) to remain dedicated to God as well as be of great service to the growth and development of the country.Jonathan, who gave the advice at the weekend at the centenary celebration of the N.K.S.T in Makurdi, further commended the church for its fame propagation of the gospel, which has over the years made positive impact on the lives of the Tiv people and Nigerians at large.Represented at the occasion by the Minister for Trade and Investment, Chief Samuel Ortom, the President announced that the Federal Ministry of Agriculture would be repositioned to create more opportunities for farmers as well as other operators in the agric business sector. He called on Benue State, as the food basket of the nation, to play a leading role in this regard.
