Bill Withers could never be accused of being fame hungry. The late singer, who died this week aged 81, kept himself in the spotlight ' by his own count ' for about eight years.What an eight years; they started in the summer of '71, first finding the limelight with Ain't No Sunshine, quickly followed by other successes: Lean On Me, Use Me, Lovely Day.
