29 more winners collect prizes in Glo SIM registration promo

Twenty-nine more lucky subscribers who registered their SIMs and won prizes in the Glo SIM registration promo have been presented with their winnings at a special prize presentation ceremony held yesterday in Lagos.The new winners comprise 13 lucky Glo subscribers who were presented with cheques for N1 million each, 8 subscribers who collected tickets for once-in-a-lifetime all expenses paid trips to Dubai while another 8 lucky subscribers picked up free tickets to watch Premier league champions Manchester United play on their home turf at Old Trafford in the UK. Addressing the winners, Globacom's Executive Director, Human Resources, Adewale Sangowawa said the prize presentation was in fulfilment of Globacom's promise to reward its subscribers with fantastic prizes for registering their SIMs as over 50 lucky subscribers were given prizes in during the last presentation ceremony held three weeks ago. 'Today's presentation of prizes to more winners in the promo is an indication of our avowed commitment to touching positively the lives of our subscribers through special rewards and incentives. To us at Globacom, a promise made is always a promise kept,' he said. Sangowawa further urged Glo subscribers who are yet to register to make use of the window of opportunity created by the NCC to register during the reconciliation period as all Gloworlds, Glozones, and dealer outlets across the country are still available to ensure quick, efficient registration of SIMs. The winners also expressed gratitude to Glo for touching their lives in such a very positive way. Police Corporal Nasiru Adegboyega, a law graduate from the University of Ilorin who was yet to attend the Nigerian Law School because of his financial predicament was most grateful to Glo for winning N1 million in the promo. 'Glo has secured my life; it looks like I am dreaming. Law School Enugu, here I come', he said. Miss Patricia Enebeli Asobi, a restaurateur in Ijebu Ode, Ogun state who won an all expenses paid trip to Dubai said she was amazed when she was told she won after registering her SIM which she bought for N100 with a N50 in bonus credit already included in the cost. 'I feel so happy. Glo has brought me fortune and all my friends and customers are now registering on the Glo network', she stated.
