BT Africa conference partners Delta Airlines

Countdown to the inaugural Business Africa Conference, the Business Traveller Africa magazine has synergised with Delta Airlines and HRG Nigeria as executive title and as corporate sponsor, to host participants in Lagos, on October 31, 2011.The one-day event, which will takes place at the Federal Palace Hotel in Lagos, is organised by South African media group, the Future Group in association with Nigerian partners, Tradeblazers.The BTA will create a ideal platform for executives and decision makers across the business travel spectrum (banks, government agencies, insurance, travel management companies and corporate business travellers) to discuss African business travel with the executive travel trade from South Africa and the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS).Highlights for discussion include 'The challenges and opportunities in setting up business in ECOWAS, Bringing developed nations' service standards to ECOWAS, among other pressing African business travel issues, as well as an overall economic and business travel review of ECOWAS.According to the Chief Service Officer of Tradeblazers, Mr Tope Ogbeni-Awe, 'The inaugural BT Africa conference provides the right platform for the emerging Nigeria and West Africa business travel markets to flourish and grow through cross-border networking in order to compete favourably with the developed countries.''These are exciting times,' said Richard Lendrum, Future Group Managing Director and publisher of Business Traveller Africa magazine.'
