James is Bayelsa PDP boss 'NWC

THE National Working Committee(NWC) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has approved the appointment of Dugo James as the substantive chairman of the party in Bayelsa State.This followed a meeting of the committee at the national secretariat of the party in Abuja, on Tuesday, presided over by the national chairman, Alhaji Abubakar Kawu Baraje.A statement issued by the national publicity secretary of the PDP, Professor Rufa'i Ahmed Alkali, said after careful deliberations and consultations with stakeholders from Bayelsa State and in line with article 14.5 of the constitution of the party, the NWC approved the immediate appointment of James as the substantive chairman of the party in the state.It, therefore, advised all PDP members and stakeholders to cooperate him and the state executive committee to ensure the success of the forthcoming governorship primary and election in the state.
