Leutemack Barrack organises Tombola Night 'To mark Eid-ul-Kabir

AHEAD of this year'sEid-ul-Kabir celebration, the Nigeria Army, 81 Battalion, Leutemack Barrack, Mokola, Ibadan, has concluded arrangement to organise 'Tombola Night' (Games) for officers and civilians of the barrack during the celebration.Speaking with newsmen in Ibadan, the committee chairman, Lieutenant Kolawole Elero, said the games were packaged to promote the existing cordial relationship between the military and the civilians.At the event, slated for November 4, according to Lieutenant Elero, 'we want the civilians to move closer to us and be our friends, we are their friends and we will try our best to provide them with adequate security.'He charged civilians not to see military men in uniform as their enemies, saying that the programme would be competitive and interesting, as participants would go home with prizes including refrigerator, gas cookers, DVD, bags of rice, cow, flat screen television, among others.
