Hodgson backs Osaze

Roy Hodgson has backed Osaze Odemwingie and Chris Brunt to score from the spot in the next chance they get, despite both players missing their attempts.Speaking to wba.co.uk, Hodgson backed both players to come good again from the spot, saying they needed to capitalise more on such chances in the league.He said, "We have had a bad penalty season so far, its not a good record. Its something that we badly need to address because penalties can really be gilt edged goal opportunities. Neither Odemwingie nor Brunt was terribly pleased with their last penalties but I would still back them both to take another one."
