Celebrating Spain in art and culture

It was a week of cultural fiesta as Nigerians and the diplomatic community celebrated with the Spaniards, their national day and cultural week. The five-day event began with an exhibition entitled, 'The expansion of the city'. It was followed by a drama presentation by the Jos Repertory Theatre of Miguel Mihura's Sublime Decision. The 6th edition of the visual arts competition was staged at the Transcorp Hilton with Henry Eghosa emerging overall winner. The national day was celebrated at the residence of the ambassador with a Flamenco performance also at the Hilton, climaxing the week.
