Cement price stability

In a bid to ensure stable cement price, French multinational cement producer, Lafarge, has resorted to using rail transportation to supply cement across the country.Lafarges Eastern Market Manager, Mr. Femi Babatunde, stated this in Osogbo, on Friday, when the company sent 600 tonnes of cement into the state capital via rail.Fields Sales Manager of the company, Mr. Bolarinwa Aje, said that rail had been used by Lafarge to transport cement to Ota, Abule-Egba in Ogun State and Eleyele in Ibadan, adding that the same means of transport would soon be used to transport cement to Ilorin in Kwara State.
