Firms launch new products in Nigeria

HISENSE Kelon Electrical Holding Co. has partnered with one of Nigeria's indigenous engineering firm-Airflow Engineering Works Limited to launch its multiple-award winning Kelon brand of refrigerators, freezers and air conditioners in the country.Managing Director of Airflow Engineering Works, Mr. Sola Giwa said that his company entered into strategic partnership with the firm based on the pedigree of his partners, which fell in line with Airflow's core value of making world-class products available to itswide range of customers.'The Kelon brand is known in over 130 countries and has perhaps the enviable research and development programme in consumer electronics which put their consumers in a unique position in terms of value for money for every product purchased.'Hisense Kelon has three production facilities in Africa apart from their other production facilities in China and other parts of the world.It also has established three research and development centres in Europe and in the United States, while its subsidiaries and sales offices are in the United States Europe, Australia, Africa, the Middle East and Southeast Asia.The Kelon product according to Giwa was assembled at Airflow factory in Nigeria and was available at all Airflow dealer outlets all over the country and he believed that the quality that had made the Hisense Kelon group a world leader in the industry wouldsoon be enjoyed by Nigerians General Manager of Airflow Engineering Works, Mr. Jacob Chacko said that consumers of Kelon products would also enjoy additional warranty ontheir products backed up by a highly trained technical team.The product range includes all types of air conditioners from window, split to free stand air conditioners, Freezers from 145 ltrs to 600 ltrs, different models of refrigerators from 50 ltrs to 600 ltrs.
