U-17 players shortlisted from London camp

Eight players have being selected from the two-day camping exercise held at the Bisham Abbey training camp with Arsenal topping the bill with four players.According to coach Chika Akujobi of Feyernoord of Rotherdam who supervised the camping, , those selected displayed high technical abilities, commitment and the zeal to excel at the top if given the opportunity.Those selected include Arinse Uade, defender with Arsenal U-16; Alex Iwobi, midfielder for Arsenal; Oluwatomisin Adeloye, striker, Charlton; Joseph Debayo, defender, Stoke City; Joshua Odunwo, striker Southend and Keith Orenuga striker Arsenal. Others are Fejiri Okenabirhie, winger, Arsenal and Lawson Okimeji, an unattached defensive midfielder.The list has been submitted to the technical committee of the Nigeria Football Federation which is expected to invite the boys to form the nucleus of the U-17 national team.
