NFF's Technical Committee meeting deadlocked 'Decides today

MEMBERS of the Technical Committee of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), continue their meeting today as the country awaits announcement of the man who succeeds Samson Siasia as Super Eagles' coach.An insider at the meeting told Tribunesports that the meeting was exhaustive and all options were throughly thrashed out but the outcome remained inconclusive as some decisions were yet to be agreed upon.''This is not an occasion to syndicate interest in a particular candidate and for your information, what we discussed did not chiefly centre on the Super Eagles or the coach for the team alone but other issue affecting the development of football in general.''We have all the country's national teams under review and we discussed structures and way forward. At the end of the meeting tomorrow (today), I am sure the public will be convinced we meant well for Nigerian football.''He also explained that this time round, the Technical Committee is bent on protecting the secrecy of major decisions made until a communique is issued.''In recent times, we discovered that there were leaks on what we discussed, by the time we publicised our deliberations, they were already in the media, that is why we are moving fast but maintaining sealed-lips,'' he explained.
