Onigbinde denies quitting NFF's Technical Committee 'NFF appoints Ubah, Falode

FOOTBALL technocrat, Chief Adegboye Onigbinde, says he is still on the Technical Committee of the Nigeria Football Federation,(NFF), contrary to media reports.There were reports that Onigbinde was giving up his membership of the Technical Committee of the NFF for certain reasons but the former national team handler told Tribunesports exclusively that he was still involved in the activities of the Committee.''As I am talking to you now, I am busy attending the meeting of the Technical Committee,'' Onigbinde told Tribunesports yesterday when asked to clarify issues on his purported disengagement from the Committee.''That response of mine is enough confirmation that I'm still on the Committee, we are on a crucial national assignment and this is no time for distraction, we are all focussed. The story was orchestrated by people who do not believe in my contribution to Nigerian football,'' said Onigbinde.Meanwhile,THE Nigeria Football Federation, (NFF), has appointed business mogul, Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah as Ambassador for youth football development.In the letter appointing the Chief Executive of Capital Oil and Gas Nigeria Ltd, NFF President, Aminu Maigari wrote: 'This appointment is in recognition of your keen interest in, and tremendous contributions to, the programmes of our National Youth Teams.Also, the NFF Executive Committee has approved the appointment of Aisha Falode as Coordinator of the Women National Teams.
