Siasia sues NFF 'Alleges breach of contract

SACKED Nigeria's coach Samson Siasia has dragged the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) to court over wrongful termination of his contract.The NFF were served a court summon to this effect Wednesday.Officials disclosed that Siasia argued that he was not given a 30-day notice prior to his dismissal as stipulated in his contract. He also stated that he is still owed two months' salary.He also claimed that going by his contract the NFF failed to secure a free and furnished accommodation in Abuja for him.He was also not given a fitness trainer as contained in his contract.The NFF fired Siasia for failing to meet his first target as enshrined in his contract, which is to qualify Nigeria to at least the semi-final of the 2012 Nations Cup.Last month, Nigeria failed to qualify for the competition for the first time in 25 years after a 2-2 draw with Guinea in Abuja.Last November, the 44-year-old Siasia was given a four-year contract by the NFF with the condition to qualify the Eagles to at least the semi-finals of the 2012 Nations Cup.
