There is tension and uncertainty in the land with an atmosphere of gloom pervading the country. And it is happening just weeks after Nigeria celebrated her 60th independence anniversary. The youth-engineered #EndSARS protest, which began as a peaceful campaign against police brutality in the country developed into full blown violence after soldiers allegedly shot at protesters at the Lekki toll gate, Lagos State, last Tuesday night. According to Amnesty International, at least 12 people were killed in the shooting while several others were injured.
