Arsenal host West Brom at the Emirates on Saturday (today) in a match that will bring to memory the role of Osaze Odemwingie in the destruction of the Gunners at the Emirates last season.Arsenal will be looking to extend their winning streak in the Premier League to four matches but with Osaze in the visitors fold, the homers will not take away their eyes from the Nigerian striker. On September 25 last year, Osaze was a major problem for Arsenal defence, scoring in West Broms 3-2 win. In the reverse fixture, the striker scored again as Arsenal drew 2-2 at The Hawthorns on March 19 this year. But Osaze is yet to find last years form and the former Lille striker has struggled to keep the goals flowing, prompting coach Roy Hodgson to declare that Osaze will not have automatic place in the team. In the three matches played so far this season for the club, Osaze has scored once.Following their win at Stamford Bridge in an eight-goal thriller, Arsenal were less impressive in their goalless Champions League draw with Marseille on Tuesday. Robin van Persies absence seemed to trigger a lethargic performance until he was brought on in the second half.Having scored a sublime hat-trick in the win over Chelsea, including his 10th league goal of the season from as many games, Arsenals perceived reliance on the Dutch forward may become a worry as the season wares on.In contrast, Thomas Vermaelens return to the side against the French side will please Gunners fans.Although they have been in excellent Premier League form of late, the defence has hardly been watertight and his organisation at the back was evident against Marseille.West Brom will head to London without two key players as knee injuries have ruled out striker Shane Long and defender Paul Scharner.Long looks set to miss six weeks with a knee injury he sustained following a robust Alan Hutton challenge against Aston Villa almost a fortnight ago.
