1,800 exhibitors for Drupa event

About 1,800 exhibitors are expected to attend the next edition of Drupa event, a special exhibition for print media, buyers, publishers, creative designers and printers. The exhibitors are to come from 50 countries, with visitors from over 122 countries across the world, according to a statement by the country representative, Trade Fair Services Limited, on Friday. It said the event would hold from May 3 to May 16, 2012 in Germany, adding that "the Drupa 2012 will present a complete, global overview of state-of-the-art technologies." The fair with a campaign theme of "your link to print" had the goals of strengthening print by networking with new digital technologies, it added.It said, "Drupa 2012 promises future for exhibitors and visitors alike; the exhibition presents a detailed overview of the innovative nature of the print media industry with its revolutionary solution for print buyers, publishers, creative designers and printers.""Visitors and exhibitors will also have the opportunity to celebrate the worlds leading exhibition as the city, the drupacity, a cosmopolitan business and cultural centre to meet customers, partners and friends in a unique atmosphere."
