Several dead and dozens injured in M5 crash

At least 16 people are feared dead and 43 injured in the M5 pile-up which is now being described as the worst accident on British roads in 20 years. The horrific accident, which triggered a "massive fireball" on the northbound carriageway of the M5 near Taunton, Somerset, involved 23 cars and vans and four lorries. Police sources say 16 people have died but this figure could rise with a number of people still unaccounted for.Add your comment
