Jonathan becomes ISCEST fellow

President Goodluck Jonathan will be inducted a Fellow of the International Society of Comparative Education, Science and Technology (ISCEST), as part of events of the inaugural conference of ISCEST, scheduled for Yenagoa, on December 7 to 11, 2014.The conference, which is in line with the association's aim to promote Comparative Education, Science and Technology, as well as advance the academic status and values of these fields of human enterprise and endeavours, will feature discussions by top academics around the world on Management Sciences, Environmental and Agricultural Sciences, Technology and Applied Science.This maiden event will be declared open by Dr Goodluck Jonathan and will be chaired by the interim President of the International Society of Comparative Education, Science and Technology, Nigeria, Professor Steve Azaiki. Keynote speaker is Emeritus Professor of the Faculty of Business and Society, University of South Wales, UK, Professor David Turner.Renowned scholars expected at the conference are Professor Charl Wolhunter, Dr Gertrude Shotte, Dr Paul Miller, Professor Valentine Aletor, Dr Omokaro Obire, Professor Humphery Ogoni and Professor Ibibia Dabipi.Also expected at the conference are the Bayelsa State governor, Honourable Seriake Dickson, other state governors, members of the Diplomatic Corps, captains of industries, top businessmen from within and outside the country and renowned academics.Participants, academics and student alike, at the conference will also have the opportunity to publish their research papers in internationally-recognised journals of the World Society of Comparative Education.Nigeria becomes the first in Sub-Saharan Africa to inaugurate the organisation and to host a World Conference of the Society.ax
