The 2014 Channel O Music Video Awards has come and gone, with loads of smiles coming from winners and of course, tears flowed from the losers.Shocking but true, Nigerian acts lost out big time, except for the likes of Tiwa Savage, Kcee and Olamide who did the country proud.Tiwa won the 'Most Gifted Female ' awardfor her 'Eminado ' single featuring Don Jazzy , KCEE won the 'Most Gifted Duo ' for his hit single 'Pullover ' featuring Wizkid .Nigerian rapper Olamide beat Davido , Dr SID , Burna Boy and R2bees to clinch the 'Most Gifted West ' award. He also performed alongside YBNL rapper Lil Kesh who rendered his ' Shoki' remixalongside Davido.Tanzania's Diamond turn out the biggest winner of the night, winning; 'Most Gifted Afro Pop', 'Most Gifted Newcomer' and 'Most Gifted East '.Worthy of note was the big fall of Davido who lost out in the whole of the 5 categories in which he was nominated in.
