Group lauds Jumoke Akinjide on dividends of democracy

A pressure group within Oyo State Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has lauded the efforts of the Minister of State for Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Oloye Jumoke Akinjide for her efforts at ensuring that the dividends of democracy reached the low and high of the society in the state.In a statement signed by the Chairman, Active Group, Alhaji Adeyemi Akinade said, aside Oloye jumoke Akinjide's efforts at attracting Federal Government's attention to the needs of the state, she has also touched positively on the lives of many people through several poverty alleviation schemes she embarked upon.Alhaji Adeyemi disclosed that this year alone, almost 200 people from the state were sponsored to Holy pilgrimage in Mecca and Jerusalem.He described Oloye Akinjide as woman whose life is dedicated to advancement of mankind.
