Bello Bichi, who had been transferred to Albasu Local Government Area of the state.According to him, there was the need for workers to be transparent and accountable in whatever position of responsibility given to them, since there was a day of reckoning around the corner.'Every human being would have to account one day for his/her stewardship before Allah, hence, the need for us to always remember to do good, because there is reward for everything,' he stated. He commended the out-going officer for being faithful and diligent in the local government.Earlier, the Director, Personnel Management, Alhaji Isa Husaini Zugachi, had commended the outgoing officer for his tremendous efforts in sustaining the credibility of the local government service.Zugachi called on the council's workers to redouble their efforts, in order to achieve the desired objectives.Bichi, in his response, thanked the workers for their support and cooperation when he served in the area and expressed appreciation for the ceremony. In a related development, the local council's head of community and social development, Alhaji Salisu Ado Gabasawa, has stressed the need for the developmental associations not to rely on government to fund their associations at all times. He called on the associations in the community to intensify efforts towards achieving the desired objectives. He indicated that they could start a meaningful project up to a certain limit and later sought for government's contribution for the completion of such project.Alhaji Salisu urged the associations and philanthropists in the society to continue with their contributions towards improving the level of education and Islamic activities in their areas.
