Oluyole LG boss donatesN50,000 to triplets

THE Oluyole Local Government Chairman, Mr. Abass Aleshinloye, on Tuesday, donated N50,000 to the husband of a woman whose wife gave birth to triplets through caesarian section at ABEO Memorial Hospital and Maternity Centre, Muslim, Odinjo area, but who could not pay the medical bill amounting to N150,000.According to the local government boss, 'the husband, Mr Tunmise Emmanuel, came to me for assistance and I was happy to oblige. We are not only talking of discharge fee, the family also needs some money for the upkeep of these children, I will in the first instance donate N50,000 and also negotiate with the hospital on how the woman could leave the hospital in good time,' he said.Mr Emmanuel lamented that he was devastated when he was asked to pay N150,000 as the medical fee, 'I went to the chairman for assistance and he gave me N50,000. I am very grateful to him and I also appeal to well-meaning Nigerians to come to my aid so as to take care of my family, the meagre money I make from my Okada business is not sufficient.'The medical doctor, in charge of the hospital, Mr Ogundare Kehinde said, 'when the woman was brought in, she had complications, for us to save her life and those of her babies, we commenced the operation without asking for deposit. I appeal to the public to assist them in settling their medical bills and give the man good job to support his wife and her babies.
