No replacement for injured Nsofor, Mikel

THERE will be no replacement for the duo of Obinna Nsofor and Mikel Obi after it was confirmed that they will not play any part in this weekend's friendly match against Bostwana and Zambia in Benin and Kaduna respectively.According to team officials, going by the time frame, it will not be necessary to call up new player to take the places of the two players who, however, won the praises of coach Stephen Keshi for honouring the invitation inspite of the fitness problem.The Big Boss while confirming the development, said the decision of both players to show up in camp despite their injury worries was quite commendable and has shown that the players were ready to work with him.'Both players are out of the games, but it is good they even showed up, it is a sign that the players are ready to show enough committment.' said Keshi.Mikel, who has been nursing a back problem, trained apart from the group Wednesday, while Nsofor did not train at all and had an ice pack around his left knee. Besides, Nsofor and Mikel, the Eagles will also be missing the services of West Bromwich Albion star, Osaze Odemwingie who is also out due to injury.
