It's about time. The greatest video game running back in history had to one day make his way to the Madden series, and it's finally happened. Bo Jackson will be coming to Madden 15 and Madden Mobile as part of a special Ultimate Team card, according to EA Sports. If you've ever played old-school Tecmo Bowl, you know how devastating virtual Bo could be.A much more lifelike version is headed to EA Sports' gridiron simulation. While at the PlayStation Experience in Las Vegas on Dec. 6, I had an opportunity to play with Jackson in the game. The results were to my liking. This is a simulation, so one shouldn't expect Jackson to be superhuman in the game. That said, he is indeed an impressive blend of speed and power. On one play, one of the EA Sports representatives on hand broke five tackles with the former multisport star. With the sticks in my hand, I tore through the left side of the Seattle Seahawks defensive line with Jackson. He hit the sidelines like a freight train. I couldn't help but think about the iconic Monday Night Football moment in 1987 when Jackson broke off a 91-yard touchdown run against the Seattle Seahawks. At the end of it, Jackson just kept running right into the tunnel at the old Kingdome in Seattle.Unfortunately, I didn't quite get that far. Seahawks safety Earl Thomas was able to pull Jackson down from behind. Don't worrythere were no hip injuries after the tackle. In case you're interested, and I know you are, here's how you get Jackson on your Ultimate Team.Log into either Ultimate Team on your console (PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One) or Madden Mobile between December 22 and January 1. You will receive a Rookie Bo Jackson item to use on your squad with a limited-time stat boost. There will also be "Special Bo-themed Live Events" to help players earn rewards for their teams. Ratings information will be revealed once Bo's Ultimate Team card is released.Follow Brian Mazique, aka FranchisePlay, the Sports Video Game Journalist Click here to read full news..
