Face of Sleek 2011 holds Nov 27

IT WOULD be fashion, fabulous prizes, fantastic artistes and fun, all fused together as the grand finale of Nigeria's high profile model search, Face of Sleek 2011, holds on November 27 at the Habour Point in Victoria Island, Lagos.The regional screenings of the event, which would take place in Abuja, Port Harcourt and Lagos respectively, begins on November 16 with the closing of entries on that day. Thirty semi-finalists would emerge from the regional screenings and 10 finalists will compete at the grand finale in Lagos.This year's fantastic prize package is worth N4 million and includes a brand new car and an all-expense paid trip to the UK to take part in the London Fashion Week. There will also be holidays to London or Paris for the winners of Sleek Studio Woman and Style categories and one year supply of Sleek Studio hair and make-up products.With a string of international runway modeling jobs under her belt, the winner of Face of Sleek 2009 Makida Moka says her feet still haven't touched the ground since she won.'My life changed for the better from the day my name was announced. I love all Sleek Studio hair and make up products as they make me look and feel good.'To usher in this year's extravaganza, Sleek Studio hosted a special all-day 'Product Party' on October 28 at its flagship hair and beauty studio in Lagos. There was a sneak preview and product demonstration of the company's groundbreaking skincare line. They consist of an exfoliating range of products designed to lift and reveal new and luminous skin and a lightening range for a smooth complexion. Loads of beauty tips were also given at the event.
