Van Der Vaart suffer injury blow

Tottenham Hotspur's Rafael van der Vaart will miss the Netherlands' friendly with Germany on Tuesday after suffering a hamstring injury Friday night's goalless draw with Switzerland.The former Real Madrid midfielder limped off in the 66th minute of the clash in Amsterdam and was replaced by Kevin Strootman. He has been ruled out of the clash with Germany in Hamburg - where he has also played - but Oranje boss Bert van Marwijk is confident the playmaker has not sustained any long-term damage. "It is probably a mild sprain but the game against Germany will come too early," said Van Marwijk.
