Jigawa lauds donation to disabled persons

JIGAWA State government has commended the donation of 40 wheelchairs, 25 tricycles and others to some physically-challenged persons in the state by the Beautiful Gate Handicap Centre, Jos.Secretary to the State Government, Alhaji Lawal Abdu Babura, who received the items on behalf of Governor Sule Lamido, gave the commendation on Thursday at the Government House, Dutse.He said the donations would facilitate their full integration into the society, as well as ease the hardship encountered by them.Babura recalled that the centre had earlier donated 50 wheel chairs to the disabled group in the state, adding that it was a demonstration of the Biblical good neighborliness in the popular saying of 'be your brother's keeper'.'Let me at this junction draw your attention to the slogan of Oyo State which is the pacesetter.
