1. ACN explains Adeola’s choice as Ribadu’s ru

The Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN) yesterday said that there was nothing wrong with the Muslim-Muslim ticket of Mallam Nuhu Ribadu, its presidential candidate and his running mate, Mr. Fola Adeola, former managing director of Guaranty Trust Bank. Speaking on Adeola’s choice yesterday, spokesman of ACN, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, told Daily Sun that the choice of the former banker was the sole decision of Ribadu, who merely satisfied the constitutional requirement of informing the party leaders.
