London 2012: Nigeria's preparation worries Ogunkoya

Atlanta96 silver medallist, Falilat Ogunkoya, has expressed her worries over Nigerias preparation ahead of the London 2012 Olympics. She believes that the athletes have not attained their peak with seven months left to the games.Although the athletes performed fairly well at the All Africa Games in Maputo, Mozambique, their results at the World Championships in Daegu, South Korea did not convince the former African champion about their readiness to face the world next year.Were not there yet and that is something we should worry about. The Olympics is not far away, so the athletes should be attaining their best by the beginning of next year, Ogunkoya said.I was at the championships in Daegu and I was not impressed by our results. We could have done better; we used to finish in the medals range in the past.
