Irepodun people assured of quality service

The people of Irepodun Local Government Area of Kwara State have been assured of quality service delivery by the present local government council.Speaking with the Community News in Ilorin, the chairman of the council, Barrister Bashirat Mohammed, said the council had been able to transform the local government area through varous developmental programmes which had positively impacted on the lives of the people.She said most of the abandoned projects in the area had been completed to make lives more bearable for the people.Barrister Mohammed also said that the council embarked on the construction of Doctors' quarters, rehabilitation of Women Development. Centre, renovation of Legislative quarters and other office accommodation for principal officers and staff of the council.She said that the first phase of infrastructural development plan by the council included the repairs and grading of bridges and roads across the local government area, adding that the council had ensured the reactivation of marriage registry in the area to accord respect for marriage institution.The council boss also said that most of the health centres had been rehabilitated to ensure quality health care service for the people.
