Owa tasks brewery over infrastructure

The Owa Obokun of Ijesaland, Oba Gabriel Adekunle Aromolaran, has appealed to the management of International Breweries, Ilesa, to let its immediate communities feel its impact through provision of employment and social infrastructure.Oba Aromolaran made the appeal while responding to the address of the management during the presentation of the products of the company at his palace.The monarch, who said that the Brewery was a thing ofpride to the people of Ijesaland, said that it should strive to provide infrastructural facilities such as roads, boreholes as well as employment for the people in the community.According to Oba Aromolaran the international Breweries is one of the pillars we have in Ijesaland and we are proud of it, but I want to implore youto let the community feel your impact in terms of employment and provision of infrastructure such as roads, boreholes and other good things of life. You should make the people happy.You should supplement government efforts on roads and provision of water. You should also support our annual festival.In his speech, the managing director of International Breweries, Otunba Micheal Daramola, said that the company had been portraying the image of Ijesaland positively as one of the best managed company in Nigeria.
