Ambrose tasks Eagles

FC Ashdod of Israel versatile player Efe Ambrose has charged the Super Eagles to give their best under new coach Stephen Keshi.Ambrose featured in the two friendly games against Botswana and Zambia and is looking at a brighter future for the team.Even though the Delta-born player is impressed with the performance of the Eagles in the 0-0 draw, he admits that the players still have more to do to win back the confidence of the fans."The two games were good for the playes but what we need now is to work towards the technical aspect of the game and adapt to the tactics and pattern of the new technical crew," he said."The coach has shown us how we can develop mentally and physically as players and all we need is to follow his instructions and we will be back to our rightful place. We have to play our own part by giving him what he wants on the pitch and also play with our hearts. We need to show the coach that we want to play for our fatherland again."Most importantly, we must be disciplined because if you are not, you cant play under most Nigerian coaches. All these will make us better as a team."Its a rebuilding process and we must start from the foundation. But I just hope Nigerians are patient enough to see how the team will look like in a few months from now."
