Keshi predicted I'll be captain 'Yobo

SUPER Eagles captain, Yobo Joseph, says he has been motivated afresh by the coming of Stephen Keshi as handler of the Nigeria's national team pledging his loyalty to the country.''When he was an assistant coach, Keshi revealed to me I have the qualities of being the Super Eagles captain. It was a prediction he made to me as a rookie in the national team when he was an Assistant coach. Now that he is in charge and I am the capta-in, I will do the best I can to ensure the Super Eagles succeed under Keshi. He is a great motivator.''Yobo also said the national award bestowed on him has fired him to do more for Nigeria.''This means people appreciate what I have been doing for this team and now I feel like a new, ambitious player and I will overcomev all impediments which may stand between me and national assignments.''Yobo also added that his record 86 caps amount to nothing without a trophy.''I have to crown this record with a trophy, it is after that that I will be fulfilled.
