Eagles will play anywhere

STEPHEN Keshi says he plans to take the Super Eagles' home games across the country and as such, the players should be prepared to play in different venues.The Eagles played against Botswana and Zambia in Benin and Kaduna in a space of three days and Keshi says it is good for the national team.''My background as a footballer gave me that sentiment,'' Keshi said.''I have played great games in Benin, Ibadan, Lagos, Enugu, Kaduna and I feel nostalgic about these great cities, I want this team to play in many of these places. I know some crowd are less patient but as Nigerians they have the right to boo or cheer the Eagles. If my team is booed, I don't expect the players to feel let down but to get fired up and try harder.''He observed that the Eagles still harbour substandard players.''Any player who is not good enough to challenge for Africa and World Cup standard does not deserve to be in this team.
