Ogun govt repairs Abeokuta-Sagamu-Siun road

The Ogun State Ministry of Works and Infastruture has repaired all failed portions on the Abeokuta-Sagamu-Siun expressway to ensure free vehicular movement on the highway.Disclosing this in a statement signed by the Ministry Information Officer, Seun Dokunmu, was the state Commissioner, Mr Olamilekan Adegbite, who said that most of the roads being worked upon in Abeokuta metropolis were Federal Government's roads but the state government decided to make them motorable for the benefit and convenience of its citizens.On the rehabilitation exercise being carried out on Abeokuta'Sagamu Expressway, the commissioner said the road received the state government's attention due to its position as one of the major highways into the state, saying that people's impression on the state of the road could be used to score government's achievement.He said roads in the state would continue to receive routine rehabilitation from time to time.He explained that one of the policy thrusts of the Senator Ibikunle Amosun-led administration was to ensure that roads across the state were made motorable and modernised to properly cater for the expanded commercialisation and all round development that would soon take place in the state.He assured the people of the state that good times are ahead in terms of roads and infrastructure.
