Striker, Mauri battle for Dosumu Cup

Young Striker of Ebute Meta and Flaming Mauri of Lagos Island have qualified for the final of the 2nd Ade Dosumu U-17 Cup which will hold on November 20 at the National Stadium, Lagos.Both sides are the two teams left in a competition of 32 which started in October.The Young Strikers had defeated Oshodi United 1-0 in one of the semi-finals while Flaming Mauri beat Junior Arsenal of Alimosho 2-0 in the other semi-final.In the losers final, which was played on Sunday, Junior Arsenal defeated Oshodi United 4-2 via penalty.The organisers of the competition said its purpose was to discover young talents that are capable of featuring in the Golden Eaglets and pursue a career in football.
