Job Seekers Should Stop Doing These Things

There are four things job seekers should stop doing. It is understandable that job seekers are most times stressed out and overly anxious. But it is not OK when they do things that will break or hinder their job opportunity. This article will share some of those things that jobseekers do unconsciously that can hinder them from landing a job. <br><br><b>Here are the four things job seekers should stop doing; </b><br><br>1. Spending all that time tweaking your visionary.<br>2. Over-explaining your background.<br>3. Questioning how to address your interviewer.<br>4. Wondering when and how often to follow up on an interview. <br><br><br><b>Right ways to handle these things; </b><br><br>1. Instead of spending all that time tweaking your visionary, network wisely and meet people.<br>2. Instead of over-explaining your background, focus on the impact you can bring to the company.<br>3. Instead of questioning how to address your interviewer, go with what feels right. E.g., Mr. Fred<br>4. Instead of spending so much time wondering when and how often to follow up on an interview, send a thank you message and wait until after a week have passed to follow up again. <br><br><b>Conclusion:</b> <br><br>In a nutshell, job seekers should not feel overwhelm and start seeming desperate. Desperation will only do more harm than good. We understand that job hunting is inevitably stressful but it does not have to be a nightmare. <br><br>If you feel overwhelmed, take a step back, I see what you might be doing wrong.
