Ganduje pays condolence visit to Kwankwaso family

By Fanen Ihyongo, KanoKano State Governor, Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, on Saturday paid a condolence visit to the family of late Alhaji Musa Sale Kwankwaso, the father of former Governor Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso.Commissioner for Rural Development, Musa Iliasu Kwankwaso, welcomed Ganduje few kilometres to the Kwankwaso town of Madabo. Village Head of Kwankwaso town, Alhaji Baba Musa Kwankwaso received the governor as he arrived the deceaseds home in Kwankwaso village.A statement by the Chief Press Secretary (CPS) to the governor, Abba Anwar, said the House Leader of the House of Representatives, Alassan Ado Doguwa, State Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Abdullahi Abbas, party elder, Nasiru Aliko Koki, former Managing Director, Aminu Dabo and some commissioners and advisers accompanied the governor on the condolence visit.Musa Sale Kwankwaso, who was the Makaman Karaye, died at the age of 93 on Christmas Day (December 25, 2020) while the governor was on a trip out of the country.Read Also: Tinubu commiserates with Kwankwaso over fathers deathGanduje paid glowing tribute to the deceased, describing him as a caring father and complete gentleman.Weve lost a very caring father, who had blessed years of life before returning to Allah. May Allah forgive his soul and continue to shower blessings on him.Our late father was a complete gentleman, very patient, a God-fearing leader; focused and committed he was. That was why he was praised by all. May Allah forgive all his shortcomings and reward him with Jannatul Fiddaus, Ganduje prayed.The governor promised to appoint the village head of the community, Baba Musa Kwankwaso, as the next district head.Gandujes promise followed a request by Baba, a younger brother to former Governor Kwankwaso, who pleaded with the governor to be magnanimous to the deceaseds family by allowing it produce the next district head and Madaki of Karaye.
