HoS advises Lagos civil servants over COVID-19 cases

By Tajudeen AdebanjoLagos State Head of Service Hakeem Muri-Okunola has expressed concern over the increase in positive cases of Coronavirus among the civil servants.Muri-Okunola directed that no worker should report to the office more than two days in a month.He enjoined Accounting Officers to come up with duty rosters to stem the outbreak in their respective ministries, departments and agencies (MDAs).The HoS urged workers to be responsible, responsive and safe.Read Also; Sanwo-Olu: pandemic not a glamorous diseaseAccording to him, the directive was without prejudice to existing directives and only reinforces same which are in effect.Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has earlier directed civil servants from Grade Level 14 and below to continue working from home.The directive was to stem the tide of the second wave of COVID-19.
