The S2 version fixes bugs and enhances the overall security of the system, while also increasing the bandwidth for music to support higher fidelity and better-quality audio. You can defer this till later and keep using S1, but if you choose to upgrade to <a href="https://www.anrdoezrs.net/links/6415797/type/dlg/https://www.sonos.com/en-us/controller-app" rel="nofollow sponsored">Sonos S2</a>, you cannot go backthe upgrade is permanent.</p><p>Before you upgrade, you should be aware of compatibility issues between Sonos S1 and S2.
