Saraki Celebrates Isiaka Adeleke On Posthumous Birthday (Photo)

Former Senate President Bukola Saraki on Friday celebrated the posthumous birthday of Senator Isiaka Adeleke, Igbere TV reports.<br><br>Saraki said the late lawmaker lived a remarkable life. He also commiserated with the people of Osun and the Adeleke family.<br><br><blockquote>Today, on his posthumous birthday, we remember my friend and former colleague, Sen. Isiaka Adeleke.<br><br>As we celebrate his remarkable life, my thoughts are with the people of Osun State and the Adeleke family. May Allah forgive his sins and grant him a place in Aljannah Firdaus, he wrote.</blockquote><br><a href="https://twitter.com/bukolasaraki/status/1350081087637229576's=20">https://twitter.com/bukolasaraki/status/1350081087637229576's=20</a><br><br>Adeleke also served as Osun governor between 1992 and 1983.<br><br>He died on April 23, 2017, at a hospital in Osogbo, Osun State capital.<br><br>A coroner inquest had indicted Adelekes private nurse Alfred Aderibigbe of administering drug overdose on the deceased.<br><br>But an Osun State High Court sitting in Osogbo discharged and acquitted Aderibigbe in December 2020.
