Buhari, new Service Chiefs meet

By Bolaji Ogundele, AbujaPresident Muhammadu Buhari on Wednesday evening met with the new Service Chiefs at the Aso Rock Presidential Villa, Abuja.The meeting was coming just a day after the new service chiefs were announced by the President as replacements for the former military chiefs, who had held offices since 2015.Read Also: Buhari charges new Service Chiefs on patriotismDetails of the Presidents discussion with his service chiefs were not immediately made public.The new Service Chiefs meeting the President are: Major-General Leo Irabor, Chief of Defence Staff; Major-General I. Attahiru, Chief of Army Staff; Rear Admiral A.Z Gambo, Chief of Naval Staff; and Air-Vice Marshal I.O Amao, Chief of Air Staff.Also present at the meeting were the Minister of Defense, Major General Bashir Salihi Magashi (Rtd), and the Chief of Staff to the President, Professor Ibrahim Gambari.
