It's <a href="https://www.washingtonpost.com/technology/2020/09/14/tiktok-us-headquarters-oracle/">promising</a> to add tens of thousands of more roles in the country going forward (a jobs pledge that Trump <a href="https://www.c-span.org/video/'475837-1/president-trump-announce-nominee-supreme-court-next-week">touted</a> during a campaign rally in September).&nbsp;</p><p>And while the steady stream of political threats and <a href="https://www.theverge.com/2020/12/7/22160239/tiktok-ban-judge-trump-administration-us-commerce-department">court injunctions</a> have left some current TikTok employees feeling <a href="https://www.businessinsider.com/tiktok-employees-react-to-drama-surrounding-their-company-2020-9">uneasy</a>, it doesn't appear to be scaring off new applicants.
