Youths key to our policies, says Lagos commissioner

By Joseph EshanokpeLagos State Commissioner of Youth and Social Development, Segun Dawodu, has said that youths are a key part of the Babajide Sanwo-Olu administrations policy formulations.He said more dialogue will be held with them to get their feedback before the end of the first quarter.Dawodu spoke during the kick-off of the Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA) organised by the Rotary International District 9110 at the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), Ipaja, Lagos.Dawodu praised Rotary for organising the training, despite challenges posed by the coronavirus pandemic.He urged the youth to note that as future leaders, they should be well prepared for the roles ahead of them through the training, advising them to avail themselves of the opportunity being provided by Rotary.Rotary District 9110 Governor Bola Oyebade advised the youth to take the training seriously as they stood to gain from the skills they would acquire from the training. He recalled that as a beneficiary in a similar training, he gained from it.
