Bandits kill one, abduct two in Sokoto

By Adamu Suleiman, SokotoSokoto Police Command has confirmed bandits in the early hours of Thursday attacked Saketa Community in Dingyadi Village in the state, killed one and abducted two persons.PPRO, ASP Sanusi Abubakar, said the bandits killed one person and abducted two others during the attack.According to the command image maker, Commissioner of Police, Kamaldeen Okunlola, had visited the scene of the incident to sympathise and commiserate with the community.Read Also: Bandits commander, soldier killed in Kaduna, Katsina Abubakar said the Commissioner had also taken steps to put in responsive measures in tackling the situation by deploying the commands tactical team towards rescuing the abductees.He assured investigations had commenced in earnest while assuring that banditry would soon be a thing of the past with the measures being put in place.Abubakar further appealed to the public for their cooperation and support to its men and communicate on any threat to their lives in good time before it degenerated into experiencing casualties.
