By Yetunde OladeindeUnemployment is something that has made life unbearable for Nigeria youths especially the impact of COVID 19.Despite the challenges, a number of young people have gone back to the drawing board with their thinking cap adjusted appropriately. One of such persons is Bakare Olalekan Mubarak, He is indeed a great inspiration to his generation and he is ready to motivate and create more opportunities to make life easier and better for all.Youth empowerment and the promotion of African culture inspires him to support the development of the African continent in different ways. I visited the renowned Kenya scholar ,Professor Patrick Lumumba . I humbly communicated the core values of the aims and objectives, willingness to have the support and presence of Prof Lumumba which was expressly granted.Whilst Mubarak was in Kenya, he also met with the Deputy Governor of Kajiado County in Kenya.I am pleased to have created this wonderful affiliation and to have shared ideas on the strategic symbiosis as regards moving forward cultural exchange, youth engagement, civic engagement, African fashion, art and Tourism .Mubarak is also the Coordinator of Afro Heritage and Cultural festival under the 2030 Black Resettlement Mother Africa initiative. Creating a strong cultural synergy among African countries has therefore earned him a number of recognitions and awards. His words:I was appointed recently as the Ambassador of Business Liaison , Education and Culture worldwide for the 6th Region Global Chamber of Commerce. He continued:The goal of the Chamber is to establish connections and foster communication for economic development, education, culture, business and trade in Africa. They have created a new global business model between Africa, the Caribbean and the Americas. The Organisation, Mubarak stressed is passionate about youths and women in order to broaden their knowledge of trade and the global economy. That is not all.On 5th December, 2020, Mubarak reputed to be the tallest male model in sub saharan Africa at an impressive height of 6.ft9 was honoured at the African Achievers Awards for his selfless service towards creating value in Africa. For me that award is another motivation to do more. The African Achievers award has consistently honoured great Africans achievers that includes African leaders, young achievers, community builders and captains of industries across the Continent. Today, young Mubarak has proved his mettle. He is not just a model but an influencer, an actor and an ex pageant winner, Mr Kwara International 2015/ 2016. He went on to also win Mr Nigeria International the following year.Apart from all this, Mubarak has worked with a number of renowned brands that includes Fashion TV, GLO Nigeria, Zenth Bank, First bank and afro Tourism.
