Sanwo-Olu calls for action-backed investment proposals in Lagos water sector

Lagos State Governor, Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu, on Tuesday, said that stakeholders in the water resources sector should stop paying lip service to investing appropriately in providing residents with water. Sanwo-Olu said this at the 2024 Lagos International Water Conference, themed: Financing Water and Sanitation for a Greater Lagos. Sanwo-Olu noted that the era of talking without actions should end, disclosing that in the past five years, after the annual conference, there are usually proposals that are not actionable.
