Herbalist arraigned for N2.5m charm fraud

The Police on Tuesday, arraigned a 55-year-old herbalist, Kabiru Amuda, in an Iyaganku Magistrates Court, Ibadan over an alleged N2.5 million charm fraud. Amuda, whose home address was not provided, is being tried for alleged charges of obtaining money under false pretence and stealing, to which he pleaded not guilty. The prosecutor, Inspector Iyabo Oladoyin told the court that the defendant committed the offences sometime in June, at Ilora, Oyo State.
